Living Well Nutrition & Meditation- Weekend Course!!!
“Sopanam” introduces Living Well- Nutrition & Meditation Course!!! A three months weekend Course!!!Health is a valuable present for human life. It seems to be a real challenge to maintain good health in today's world. Reason could be stress, pollution, lack of understanding about oneself and suitable routine, diet and other unhealthy practices of living. As in the course of time over generations, man moved away from the nature and the healthy way of living. Consequently the life force immune system of the human body got weakened and vulnerability to disease increased.
We always live in an easy way till we find a disease. None of us live thoughtfully. Today we spend time working hard, earning money, and investing in different businesses again to earn or pay interest and lose peace of mind in either case. Many live in a negligent world. Many invest money in some large health’s budget to preserve health. We may have enough money, investments, new house, dream business or job, new car and luxuries, once diagnosed a chronic disease none of them cannot buy health.
Neglecting one's own life due to either ignorance or negligence may lead to vicious cycle. We have almost lost touch of what the grannies of the past used to practice at our homes to preserve the health of the whole family by using simple herbs, and spices which were readily available in any household. If we have the inherit knowledge, know how to protect ourselves from disease through health education, there is no need to spend much money for curing.
The investment for health education and preventive measures are as important as saving our life! In reality there are very fewer courses which supply information about the health knowledge. Instead everywhere a lot of hospitals have been build. Hospitals certainly play an important role in society. No one can ignore the importance of hospitals and doctors. They have existed to save our lives. The real objective ultimate health care goal should be to make everyone as their own doctors and eradicate the need for hospitals. But unfortunately, neither at home nor at school an emphasis is given on the importance of preventing disease.
“Prevention is better than cure” is an appealing lovely statement. This proverb advises everyone to take care of themselves before it is too late to live their lives. We all know this proverb is appealing but not everyone can adjust their lives to live healthier. It is to be said unavoidably that cure is always a secondary step to make our body healthy. First step is to foreclose, adopt a healthy nutritional pattern and live in the light of knowledge. Origination-Birth, Existence-being, growth-alteration, decay-aging and death-demise is the life cycle; it is true that at some point of time everyone has to decay and die. But till then live life to the fullest.
Our message to all our friends is simple, understand the various strata of our constitution and learn skills to handle at each level relax the mind that control emotions, remain in harmony with body the society. Unless the quality of life is improved, disappointment and frustration will continue to devastate individual, family and society interfering creativity, productivity, harmonious interaction and will ultimately affect job, personal life, family and social life. Now, the need for a holistic approach to health is more significant than ever before. The need for the hour is awareness- energy- knowledge. First step is to enlighten ourselves. Health education & right life style contributes to meditation leads you to good health. Ignorance and wrong living leads you to medicinal drug. Medicine and meditation come from the same root. Monsoon: Lets feel the downpour drops!!!
Watching the drops of rain fall, we are reminded of our childhood, when much to our parents' chagrin we would race outdoors to get soaked from head to toe. After months of enduring the intense heat, the coming of monsoon brings much relief. There is something about the rain that puts a smile on all our faces. When sky turns a dark blue, when a cool breeze brushes against the skin, when the trees dance in the wind; you know the monsoon season has finally arrived. Very welcome antidote to the heat. The rainy season is one of the best times of the year; it's when Mother Nature reveals her true magnificence in all her awe- inspiring glory, providing yet another opportunity to appreciate our earth's pristine natural beauty.
However, it is also during this season that our immunity levels are put to the test. Infections seem to be everywhere and ailments like the flu, upset stomachs, common colds, etc witness a rise. In order to enjoy the rain, while still staying fit and healthy, it becomes important to take adequate precautions against such diseases. Though this year monsoon could not bring much relief to intense heat it does not hampered our outdoor activities much,
The good news is that you can boost your immunity levels by simply following our regimen. It is essential to exercise extra care while selecting food and beverages- especially since the rain sorely tempt many of us to gorge on deep- fried food from road side stalls. While these treats are definitely mouth watering they are also very likely to be breeding grounds for harmful bacteria in this water. Hence it is wise to only eat home-cooked food in these months. More over stay safe by making it a point to wash raw fruits and vegetables very thoroughly before consumption.
Do consider adopting a nutritional diet as well. Dealing with energy!!!
Health has many facets. Yoga and nature living has been found to be a most effective strategy for maintaining health. Yoga and nature living is the best means for optimal nerve energy. How we feel is an indication of what is happening with our energy. Energy ebbs and flows within us, so noticing what causes these ebbs and flows allows us to make conscious choices in our life from a healthy perspective.
Every moment we get energy and we lose energy. When the energy we receive is greater than the energy we lose, we feel alert happy and enthusiastic. When the energy we lose is greater than the energy we receive we feel dull, lazy and sick. A preponderance of energy indicates a mental state conducive to higher values in life. The quantity and quality of energy and the way in which it flows through our nerves determine ones state of mind and emotions. When we are happy, serene, aware, loving and compassionate is an indication of preponderance of vital force. When we are vain, domineering, jealous, envious, hateful, restless, arrogant, guilty all shows a fall in vital force. When our minds are lethargic, confused, sad easily angered for no justifiable cause, deluded and unable to comprehend, vulnerable to sensual impulses; it is to be understood that we have lack of life force.
Furthermore everything that acts on the body use up energy. Using nerve energy in excess of normal production, results in enervation and toxemia. A good knowledge of the rise and falls of energy level enable us to judge the quality of our own personality and health as well. If most of the time the characteristics of gearing up energy is there we can rest assured that our personality have to become mostly pure and we have made good progress. 'Sopanam' Yoga, Meditation and Dieting classes makes you proficient in dealing with energy thereby all situations in life!

Many of the food we eat are high in saturated fat, sugar, salt and flavorings, and lacking in fibre, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Part of the reason for this is that modern food production involves extensive processing and refining techniques, which strip food of its natural qualities and introduce artificial poisonous ingredients that are designed to enhance flavor and shelf life.
other than these, sedentary job and luxurious mechanical living has given maximum comfort with no physical activities made people so lazy and lethargic which again lead to enervation and toxemia. Diet during resident detoxification course advocates eating a variety of wholesome and nutritious foods tailored to your individual needs and makes you aware the dietary guidelines of natural food and their relation to knowledge of life. By adopting this diet you can make significant improvements to your health and well-being.
